On the road again

The water in the Cuyabeno river was about half a meter lower than when we arrived. It was dry season and with a temperature close to 30 degrees the water seemed to vaporize fast. In a month the river might be dry at some parts and that will cut off the park from the world until January.
The main roads in Equador are quite good and remind me of the main roads that go trough the Alps. Higher in the mountains it is usually foggy, combine it with rain, darkness and sharp turns and you have a dangerous coctail.
Nevertheless we arrived safe and ready for our next journey.
